Universitatea Craiova has officially signed French central defender Baptiste Roux on loan from TSC Bačka Topola until the end of the season, with a permanent transfer option. Roux, 26, stands at 1.90 m and can play as a central defender or defensive midfielder. He previously played for Guingamp and had stints in Portugal and Serbia. The transfer addresses defensive issues following injuries and departures in the team. The club aims to strengthen its defense after conceding nine goals in seven matches, currently sitting fourth in the league, three points behind the leader, Dinamo.
