A public official from the Timiș Directorate of Persons' Records has been charged with continuous bribery. The prosecutor's office reported that the official, B.A., allegedly accepted bribes for facilitating the issuance and modification of identity documents. Between August 21 and September 3, 2026, he reportedly received around 300 euros from three individuals. A request for preventive arrest was made, but the court opted for house arrest for 30 days instead.
