FT: Șeful CIA ar urma să se implice mai mult în negocierile privind Ucraina. Ce spune Casa Albă

CIA Director John Ratcliffe is expected to take a more significant role in U.S. diplomatic efforts regarding Russia and Ukraine, according to U.S. officials. This shift comes as the White House considers reducing the involvement of special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in negotiations. Ratcliffe's increased involvement aims to enhance communication with intelligence officers from both countries. However, the White House has denied these claims, asserting that Witkoff and Kushner continue to work diligently towards a peace agreement. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged Witkoff's efforts but hinted at openness to new U.S. approaches. Ratcliffe recently visited Moscow, marking his first official trip since taking office, where he reportedly warned Russia against attacking NATO.
