Fructele și legume nevândute în piețele din Timișoara sunt transformate în energie / Peste 19 tone de deșeuri au fost strânse în 2 săptămâni
RETIM has collected over 19 tons of biodegradable waste in two weeks from nine markets in Timișoara as part of a pilot project aimed at converting waste into energy. The initiative, launched on August 17, involves separate collection of organic waste, including fruits, vegetables, and food products. The collected waste is processed at Genesis Biopartner's biogas facility, where it is converted into biogas for energy production. The remaining digestate is used as fertilizer in agriculture.
