Fritz, prins între Bolojan și Mureșan. De la „fără PSD” la „cu PSD”

After 135 days of political crisis, President Nicușor Dan appointed Siegfried Mureșan as Romania's Prime Minister. His nomination came from the PNL faction led by the ousted Ilie Bolojan and supported by USR. Mureșan needs 233 votes in Parliament to secure his position, which is unlikely without support from PSD or other parties. USR leader Dominic Fritz, who previously ruled out negotiations with PSD, has now expressed openness to discussions. The current parliamentary structure shows that Mureșan could realistically secure only 198 votes, making it nearly impossible to become Prime Minister without PSD's backing. Discussions for forming a majority government are set to begin soon.
