Dominic Fritz, the USR leader, stated that his party did not sign an agreement with the new government led by Luca Niculescu to maintain its opposition stance. He emphasized that decisions will largely depend on PSD, despite any agreements Niculescu may have with PNL and UDMR. Fritz criticized PSD for attempting to separate power from accountability, asserting that the party seeks to control the government while avoiding responsibility for its decisions. He also mentioned that he is unaware of the specifics of any agreements between Niculescu and PNL, reiterating that aligning with Niculescu, who relies on PSD, does not make sense for USR.
