FRF a anunțat că nu îl susține pe Gianni Infantino la viitoarele alegeri FIFA. Burleanu: „Fotbalul internațional trece printr-o criză fără precedent”

The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) announced it will not support Gianni Infantino's re-election as FIFA president due to dissatisfaction with FIFA's management of the FFE plan. The decision was made during the FRF Executive Committee meeting, reflecting concerns over transparency and dialogue with national federations. FRF aligns with UEFA's stance against FIFA's initiatives, emphasizing the need for a governance model that protects football's development. FRF president Răzvan Burleanu stated that Infantino has lost the trust of affiliated members and that international football requires leadership that fosters unity. Romania is among the few countries not to support Infantino's candidacy for 2027.
