The EPPO's latest report indicates that fraud cases in member states amount to €67 billion, with Romania accounting for nearly 10% of the cases. The total value of investigated frauds in Romania is estimated at €6 billion, with numerous cases involving significant amounts, particularly in VAT fraud.
