Fraudă TVA cu mașini second-hand: schema cu firme din Ungaria și Slovacia, coordonată din România

Over 2,000 second-hand cars were introduced into Romania through a fraudulent VAT scheme, resulting in a loss of over 26 million lei. The operation, coordinated from Romania, involved companies from Hungary and Slovakia and was dismantled by ANAF after extensive investigations across several counties. The fraud involved the use of 'missing trader' companies to evade VAT on car purchases, with vehicles sold using misleading documents to reduce taxable income. ANAF continues to investigate and recover losses while prioritizing the fight against complex tax fraud.
