Prosecutors are investigating eight suspects for organized crime, influence trafficking, and falsification. During searches, authorities seized technical equipment and around 400,000 lei. Candidates used hidden cameras in clothing to transmit exam questions and receive answers through tiny earpieces. The group, led by a 57-year-old man, charged significant fees for facilitating the exam process, including falsifying necessary documents.
