Fraudă de peste 26 de milioane de lei cu mașini second-hand. ANAF a descoperit schema prin firme din Ungaria și Slovacia
ANAF has uncovered a cross-border VAT fraud scheme involving over 2,000 second-hand cars, resulting in a loss of over 26 million lei. The investigation revealed the use of 'missing trader' companies from Hungary and Slovakia to facilitate tax evasion. Measures have been taken to secure assets worth 21.34 million lei. The fraud involved fictitious invoices and contracts, with significant discrepancies in car valuations. The operation was managed from Romania, while foreign companies created a facade of legitimate transactions. Ongoing investigations aim to recover losses and enforce legal actions.
