Frații Pavăl, patronii Dedeman, vor demola fostele hale Comatchim Internațional. Au aparținut singurului comerciant de hârtie din România înainte de '89 • Știri București

The Pavăl brothers, owners of Dedeman, plan to demolish the former Comatchim International warehouses in Bucharest, which were once the sole paper and cardboard trader in Romania before 1989. They acquired the properties in 2018 for 3.3 million euros during a bankruptcy auction. The demolition will clear 46 abandoned structures to regenerate the industrial area, with plans for new constructions to enhance the locale and create jobs. The total area involved is approximately 2.4 hectares, alongside an additional 2.7 hectares they recently purchased. The brothers also aim to expand into the food market after acquiring Carrefour stores in Romania.
