The Pavăl brothers, owners of Dedeman, have initiated rebranding procedures for Carrefour in Romania after acquiring the chain. They hired a specialized agency for this task, with the rebranding expected to take place next year. Carrefour's operations in Romania were sold to Pavăl Holding, which received regulatory approval in June. Currently, Carrefour stores still operate under the French license, with a focus on increasing local product offerings. The chain aims to enhance partnerships with Romanian farmers following the acquisition.
