Franța: Votul final privind interzicerea rețelelor de socializare pentru minori va avea loc marți
French lawmakers have reached an agreement to ban social media access for minors under 15, with a final vote scheduled for Tuesday. The bill, sponsored by MP Laure Miller, aims to protect children's development from harmful online content. A list of banned services will be established by a ministerial decree, excluding online encyclopedias and certain development platforms. The government plans to implement this ban by the 2027 school year, alongside a mobile phone ban in high schools. Minister Anne Le Hénanff praised the agreement, highlighting France's leadership in digital child protection.
