Franţa va avea anul acesta una din cele mai slabe producţii de vin din ultimii 30 de ani. Care sunt cauzele

France's wine production is expected to be one of the lowest in 30 years due to drought and extreme heat, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. The heatwave in late June hindered grape growth and damaged young vineyards. Production is projected at 33.9 million hectoliters, down 6% from last year and 17% below the 2021-2025 average. The cultivated area has decreased by 2.5%, marking the third consecutive year of poor harvests. Champagne production is expected to halve by 2025, while Languedoc-Roussillon may see a 5% increase due to better yields. The French government announced over one billion euros in aid for farmers affected by these conditions.
