Franța majorează masiv bugetul apărării pentru anul 2027
France plans to allocate €63.4 billion for defense in 2027, increasing from €57 billion this year, despite public finance pressures. The budget will focus on nuclear deterrence and military equipment acquisition. This increase aligns with the new military programming law adopted earlier this summer. The defense budget will be double that of 2017, when Emmanuel Macron took office. Most other ministries will see their budgets frozen at 2026 levels, as the government aims for a 5% budget deficit next year amid financial challenges.
