Zinedine Zidane will officially become the new head coach of the French national team on July 28, replacing Didier Deschamps. Zidane, a World Cup champion in 1998, will be introduced at a press conference alongside FFF president Philippe Diallo. Deschamps ended his 14-year tenure after the team finished fourth in the recent World Cup. Zidane's first matches will be in the Nations League this fall against Turkey, Belgium, and Italy.
