France's economic growth reached 0.2% in Q2, driven by exports and a slight recovery in household consumption, according to INSEE's preliminary estimate. This growth is below the previously expected 0.3% and follows a 0.1% decline in Q1. Domestic demand contributed positively, with household consumption increasing by 0.2%, while public consumption rose by 0.4%. The total production of goods and services grew by 0.3%, although manufacturing slowed down. Exports saw a significant rebound of 2.6%, while inventory changes negatively impacted GDP growth.
