The company has managed the fund for 16 years but was only granted a temporary one-year mandate in February. Despite the withdrawal, Franklin Templeton remains committed to managing the fund until April 2027 and has highlighted its achievements, including a total return of 1,011% for shareholders since the fund's listing in 2011. The fund has also played a crucial role in the Romanian capital market, contributing to significant IPOs and attracting foreign investments.
