Otokar has delivered the first Cobra II armored vehicles produced in Romania, marking a significant industrial capability for the country. This project involves full local manufacturing, providing Romania with important technological transfer and advanced know-how in 4x4 ground systems. The investment, valued at approximately 85 million euros, has transformed the Mediaș facility into a regional military production center, employing over 300 specialists trained by Otokar. The Cobra II vehicle, already operational for the Romanian Armed Forces, offers superior protection and versatility for various missions, with plans to produce over 780 units.
