Construction has begun on the longest bridge of the A1 highway project, spanning approximately 1,085 meters and crossing the Lugoj – Ilia railway. So far, 48 beams have been installed on the first six spans. This section is crucial for connecting Sebeș to the western border of Romania and is expected to be completed by 2027. Additionally, work has started on the viaduct between two tunnels, with 12 beams already placed. The first viaduct, measuring around 350 meters, has completed the installation of 64 beams.
