Construction work on the tram line in Armand Călinescu Street, Bucharest, has been halted due to the discovery of potential archaeological remains. The municipality announced that walls of possible historical significance were found, prompting an evaluation by specialists. A team from the Bucharest Culture Directorate has already conducted an initial check, and further assessments will be carried out by archaeologists. The evaluation process is expected to take about three weeks. This project is part of a larger infrastructure effort in the city, which includes around 50 active construction sites.
