The former brick factory site in Mureșeni, Târgu-Mureș, is set to be transformed into a park, following the approval of a budget by the Local Council. The project will cover nine hectares and includes features such as a minigolf course, skatepark, bike paths, and green spaces. The estimated budget for the redevelopment is 98.4 million lei, which will create over 56,000 square meters of green areas, walking paths, and various sports facilities. The factory, established during the communist regime, ceased operations in the 2000s and has since been abandoned. The local authorities have been working on the ecological restoration of the site since 2021.
