The AutomatedTrain project by Siemens and Deutsche Bahn has successfully integrated automation technologies into a Mireo train, demonstrating fully automated operation capabilities. The train completed autonomous tests, including obstacle detection and avoidance. Siemens is also set to deliver hydrogen-powered trains to Romania, marking the country's first hydrogen train project. These trains will operate with a maximum speed of 120 km/h and are designed for regional passenger transport, featuring bidirectional operation and multiple unit coupling.
