Public transport in Alba Iulia has resumed after a nearly nine-week strike by bus drivers over unpaid salaries. The conflict between the transport company and the city hall continues in court, with both sides claiming the other owes money. Mayor Gabriel Pleșa announced that the municipality will pay monthly compensations to the transport company, ensuring the service operates smoothly. He expressed gratitude to the drivers for their understanding and emphasized the importance of prioritizing citizens' needs. The agreement includes a commitment to pay 2 million lei monthly for the next few months to support local transport.
