TAROM has welcomed a new Boeing aircraft named "Ivan Patzaichin" to its fleet, marking the second addition from a four-plane order. The aircraft arrived from Seattle and is part of the airline's modernization efforts. The first Boeing 737 MAX 8, named after Mircea Lucescu, is set to operate commercial flights soon. These new planes are designed for better fuel efficiency and reduced emissions, aligning with TAROM's restructuring plan approved by the European Commission. The airline aims to enhance operational efficiency while serving over 50 destinations with its current fleet of 12 aircraft.
