The Morii Lake area is undergoing significant modernization, with the Sector 6 City Hall announcing roadworks on streets surrounding the lake. Residents currently lack sidewalks and walk along the road. Streets Mănăstirea Sihăstria, Mănăstirea Văratec, and Govora will be asphalted to improve infrastructure. The project aims to enhance public spaces and pedestrian safety. The City Hall has also outlined steps taken since 2021 to improve water and sewage systems, and plans for a new boulevard connecting Pasajul Ciurel to the A1 highway. The island at Morii Lake is also being renovated, with an inauguration planned for September 18.
