The Filaret electrical station in Bucharest has been modernized by Rețele Electrice România, completing a project worth 79 million lei. This upgrade enhances the safety and quality of electricity supply for over 25,600 customers in the southern part of the city. The project, initiated in 2019, included significant technological improvements, increasing the station's capacity from 160 MVA to 200 MVA. Additionally, a solar energy system was installed to boost energy efficiency. The modernization aligns with the ongoing electrification trends in transport and heating, ensuring the network meets future energy demands.
