The Bucharest City Hall announced progress on tramway rail works, with asphalt being laid on Bd. Basarabia. The project includes widening sidewalks and is expected to be completed by the end of September. Currently, 41 kilometers of tram rails are under construction in the city, with an additional 5.5 kilometers already finished. Future projects will follow the completion of the Basarabia line, including a pedestrian underpass and additional tramway sections.
