The Bucharest City Hall has begun installing new tram tracks on 1 Decembrie 1918 Boulevard as part of the longest tram project in the city. The project includes 18 km of tracks and modernizes utility networks. Upcoming work will extend to Basarabia Boulevard, with several tram lines expected to resume service after completion. Traffic restrictions are in place during construction.
