Rezolv Energy has launched the first phase of the VIFOR wind farm in Buzău, Romania, with a capacity of 192 MW. This project is among the largest wind initiatives in Romania in the last decade. Upon completion of the second phase in 2027, VIFOR will reach a total capacity of 461 MW, positioning it as one of the largest onshore wind farms in Europe. The first phase includes 30 Vestas turbines, capable of powering over 270,000 households and reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 540,000 tons annually. The project has received significant financial backing and emphasizes sustainability and biodiversity management.
