Rețele Electrice România has completed the modernization of the Filaret substation in Bucharest, investing nearly 79 million lei. This project, initiated in 2019, upgraded the last unmodernized substation in the capital, enhancing service for over 25,600 customers. The modernization included new technologies and increased capacity from 160 MVA to 200 MVA, allowing for better integration of electric vehicle charging and smart systems. Additionally, a solar energy system was installed to improve energy efficiency. This project concludes a cycle of investments aimed at modernizing the electricity distribution network in Bucharest, ensuring reliability and flexibility for future energy demands.
