DIICOT has dismantled a drug trafficking network in Bucharest, arresting five individuals involved in the distribution of psychoactive substances. The group operated from January to July 2026, using fake stores for sales. The leader, aged 24, coordinated the supply and distribution, while members acted as sellers. They sold various drugs, including N-ethylpentedrone, with prices ranging from 550 to 3,000 lei. During the investigation, authorities seized significant quantities of drugs and cash. Three suspects were placed in preventive detention, while two others were put under house arrest.
