FOTO Protest al Asociației Reset în fața Curții de Apel Iași, la 8 ani de la violențele asupra manifestanților din Piața Victoriei

Members of the Reset Association staged a flashmob in front of the Iași Court of Appeal to protest the impunity of former gendarmerie leaders involved in the violent repression of the 2018 protests. They used a large hourglass to symbolize the passage of time and the ongoing lack of accountability. The protest coincided with the eighth anniversary of the events in Victoriei Square, where many were injured. The former leaders were acquitted in June 2023, and the case risks being dismissed due to the statute of limitations. A national demonstration is planned in Bucharest to demand justice.
