The first "Lift for Life" will be built in Sector 2, Romania, on Maior Coravu Street, aimed at improving accessibility for residents with mobility challenges. Mayor Rareș Hopincă announced the construction of an external lift for a four-story building that previously had no lift. This initiative follows the adoption of the national law aimed at enhancing accessibility in residential buildings. The local administration plans to expand the program to include various accessibility solutions tailored to different buildings. Hopincă expressed gratitude to Robert Cazanciuc for the law's adoption and emphasized the commitment to support accessibility improvements in the community.
