The modernization works on Calea 13 Septembrie are ongoing, aiming to transform the boulevard into a green urban space with pedestrian-friendly areas. The segment near Dr. Jose Rizal Square has been completed, featuring renovated sidewalks and upcoming green spaces with trees, shrubs, and modern irrigation systems. The project includes planting 1,600 trees and 90,000 shrubs, along with installing new urban furniture. Ongoing works are also taking place towards Piața Arsenalului, enhancing the overall landscape. The initiative is part of the city's vision to create a 'park city' atmosphere.
