The Bucharest City Hall has started repair works on the sidewalks of Regina Elisabeta Boulevard, addressing safety concerns for pedestrians. The project covers 2,800 square meters, focusing on fixing the concrete foundation and replacing damaged granite pavement. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu emphasized the poor initial installation of the pavement and the need for thorough maintenance. The repairs aim to enhance the area, which is heavily trafficked by tourists, making it safer and more accessible. Future urban regeneration projects are also planned for the central zones.
