The Bucharest City Hall has announced the launch of a tender for the reconstruction of the Calicilor Bridge and the development of the Dâmbovița riverbanks between Unirii Square and Izvor Bridge. The project, valued at 63.96 million lei excluding VAT, is set to last 18 months. The Calicilor Bridge will be rebuilt entirely, connecting Șelari Street and Sfinții Apostoli Street, featuring a metal frame and oak deck. The riverbanks will see the expansion of pedestrian walkways, a viewing platform, and improved bike lanes, while ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities. The deadline for bids is October 1, with the best quality-price ratio as the selection criterion.
