UMB is set to build Romania's first express road featuring emergency lanes, following new regulations established this summer. The Focșani – Brăila express road, with a budget of 4.29 billion lei, will include a 23-meter platform with 2.5-meter emergency stopping lanes on each side. This change can be integrated into the project by the consortium before construction begins.
