Eight bids have been submitted for the modernization of Dimitrie Pompeiu Boulevard, which includes road widening, tram line extension, and a Park&Ride facility. The project is valued at over 256 million lei and aims to improve traffic flow in one of Bucharest's busiest areas. The contract involves design services, technical assistance, and execution works for the investment objective. The evaluation phase of the bids is currently underway, following the launch of the tender in June. The project will also address old water pipes under the tram tracks, which may delay completion.
