Robert Negoiță, the mayor of Sector 3, announced plans for interconnecting the IT systems of Bucharest's local administrations to streamline administrative procedures. This initiative aims to allow residents to submit documents online, enabling officials to verify necessary information directly through interconnected databases, thus eliminating the need for citizens to travel between institutions. The project is currently focused on linking the databases of local tax and police departments, with future plans to expand to other areas. Negoiță emphasized the goal of reducing time spent at counters and simplifying the document retrieval process for residents.
