The longest promenade along the Danube will undergo significant transformation over the next two years, with a revitalization project worth over 226 million lei. The project aims to create a modern, safe space for relaxation and outdoor activities, featuring sports areas, playgrounds, and scenic viewpoints. The mayor emphasized the importance of this investment for the community, aiming to enhance the relationship between the city and the Danube. The works are set to last 24 months and are funded through the Regional Program Southeast 2021-2027.
