Starting September 28, the reconfiguration of Iuliu Maniu Boulevard will begin, focusing on the Lujerului–Moinești section. The project aims to transform the boulevard into a modern mobility corridor with dedicated public transport lanes, bike paths, and green spaces. It includes the expansion of sidewalks, the creation of shared spaces, and the installation of LED lighting. Accessibility features will be prioritized, with ramps and Braille signage. The total investment is over 45 million lei, with significant EU funding.
