Auchan România has launched the "Smart Cart" pilot project in its Drumul Taberei hypermarket, featuring shopping carts equipped with tablets. This initiative aims to enhance the shopping experience by integrating technology, allowing customers to view their shopping lists and available offers. The project includes 24 tablets and 90 carts, enabling easy transfer of technology between carts. Currently, the service is available to MyCLUB Auchan members with at least 1,000 loyalty points. Customers can scan their handwritten shopping lists, access offers, and manage their purchases digitally. The checkout process is streamlined at dedicated Scan&Go and Smart Cart points, providing a comfortable and efficient shopping experience.
