This autumn, Bucharest will host a ten-day festival celebrating Cella Delavrancea, a prominent 20th-century pianist and cultural figure. The festival, organized by AICI A STAT, includes various cultural events such as recitals, guided tours, and an exhibition, taking place in significant heritage sites across the city. It marks 80 years since Delavrancea's literary debut and 35 years since her passing, showcasing her artistic legacy through classical music and interdisciplinary dialogues. Notable performances include pianist Alexandra Silocea and violinist Johannes Fleischmann, as well as a recital by young pianist Anastasia Maria Barbu. The festival aims to highlight the importance of cultural heritage and the memories left by influential figures like Delavrancea.
