Gradu Cârpaci, a member of a criminal group from Timișoara, has been extradited to Germany for serious human trafficking charges related to organ harvesting. He and another suspect are accused of holding a man in conditions akin to slavery, forcing him to donate a kidney. The victim was isolated, had his documents confiscated, and was threatened with harm to his family if he refused. The organ transplant reportedly took place in a German clinic, with the victim falsely claiming to be a relative of one suspect. The investigation is led by the Munich Prosecutor's Office.
