The Sector 6 City Hall in Bucharest is addressing abandoned vehicles by marking them with a red sticker and allowing a six-month period for owners to reclaim them. Currently, there are 1,164 such vehicles recorded, with 44 already scheduled for removal. Local residents have expressed frustration over the lengthy process, noting that some cars have been left unattended for over a year. The red sticker serves as an official notice, initiating a procedure that could lead to the vehicle's removal and scrapping if not claimed. The City Hall is also undertaking other urban improvements in the area.
