The Environmental Guard of Galați received over 30 complaints regarding the modernization of the Danube Promenade, leading to an on-site inspection. The project plans to remove 900 trees but will ultimately preserve 1,004 trees and plant 3,020 new ones. Seven mandatory measures were established to protect the environment during construction. The revitalization project, costing over 226 million lei, aims to transform the promenade into a modern space for relaxation and outdoor activities over the next two years.
