FOTO Frații Pavăl (Dedeman) demolează halele unei foste mari fabrici, singurul comerciant de hârtie din România până în `89

The Pavăl brothers, owners of Dedeman, are set to demolish the former Comatchim factory buildings, which were the only paper and cardboard merchant in Romania before 1989. Dedeman acquired these structures for 3.3 million euros in December 2018 during a bankruptcy auction. The company plans to clear the 46 deteriorating buildings on Doina Street to regenerate the industrial area and create new jobs. Comatchim International, established in 2007, shifted focus to waste trading after its partial division from the original Comatchim, which previously sold paper and chemicals.
