The photography exhibition "Floodplain Forest" at the Botanical Garden is open until October 4, showcasing ecosystems shaped by water and elevation. The event includes a lecture by Professor Paulina Anastasiu, focusing on the characteristics of floodplain forests. Additionally, a unique plant from South Africa has bloomed for the first time in the greenhouse, known for its unusual structure resembling a parachute. The exhibition is part of a project by the ERM Foundation and the Association of Botanical Gardens in Romania, highlighting the historical significance of the Cotroceni area, once covered by dense forests.
